Questa e' una cache piuttosto curiosa:
mentre mi documentavo circa la Via Francigena, ho trovato questo sito, dove si nota un servizio fatto in maggio scorso da Radio Rai 3, quando alcuni giornalisti hanno ripercorso il cammino fatto dal vescovo Sigeric nel 990. (visit link)
Ebbene, alla quarta settimana di viaggio, in terra Toscana, hanno piazzato una specie di cache alle esatte coordinate da me riportate, e per pura curiosita', mentre andavo a trovare la Francigena 1, ho voluto controllare se ci fosse ancora qualcosa.
Ebbene, ancora c'e' una grossa scatola metallica, vuota, anche molto vistosa, di colore giallo.
Io ho piazzato a circa 50-60 centimetri dalla scatola, ben nascosta, una MICRO CACHE , senza penna.
Se qualcuno vuole provare a mettere oggetti dentro la scatola, faccia pure, pero' ricordate che LA CACHE VALIDA E' LA MICROCACHE, un contenitore per rullini fotografici.
Il segnale gps e' molto forte in quel punto, la cache e' facilissima da trovare, la cosa piu' difficile e' trovare la strada per arrivarci con l'automobile ( a circa 150 metri) Se non la si trova, si devono fare almeno 500 metri a piedi nei campi.
Ci sono cartelli con scritto proprieta' privata, a piedi si puo' entrare!!
Attenzione in periodo di vendemmia, ci saranno sicuramente molte persone!

This is a curious cache:
During my search into the web about Via Francigena, i found this site, where the Radio Rai 3, the italian national broadcasting company, made a reportage about Via Francigena, some reporters made the same route of Sigeric bishop. (visit link)
So, in the fourth week of this walk, in Tuscany, they placed a kind of cache at same coordinates i report here.
For my curiosity , during my visit to Francigena 1, i wanted to control if this box was still there, and i found a large metallic yellow box, empty.
I placed a MICROCACHE ,a 35 mm film canister, at a 50-60 cms from this box, without pen, only the log; if someone wants to put something into the yellow box, he is welcome, but remember that the VALID CACHE IS THE MICROCACHE.
Gps signal is very strong there, it is very easy to find the cache, the real difficulty is to find the right way for arriving close to the cache by car ( about 150 meters far) If you don't find the road, you need walk in the fields for about 450 meters.
There are signs indicating private property, you can enter on foot!
Pay attention during grape harvest season, there will be surely a lot of people!
