Cache is in a 7mm ammo can. HCPD permit 050020
Location: Miami-Whitewater County Park. There is a $5 annual parking fee (or $2 daily) that will admit you to all Hamilton County parks. Miami-Whitewater Park has a lot to offer for the entire family as well as the hardened outdoor enthusiast. Make sure you click on the link below to see all that this park has to offer.
Two ways to reach this cache. One, hoof it on the eight mile bike trail all the way out. Which will prolly take about a half hour walking one way. Or Park in the small gravel parking area just down from where the bike trail crosses baughman Rd..
when you cross baughman rd. headed away from the main park look for a grass path leading around the wet lands to the left. follow this grass path till it makes a turn to the right. then follow the trail straight till you reach the cache.
this area of the park is not visited very much and could have muddy spots durring periods of rain. Be on the look out for many different types of birds and wild life. these wet lands serve as a resting point for many migrating birds.
