Smith Park was dedicated on July 4, 1949 on the site of the old Pioneer and Chautauqua grounds. Donated by the Smith family heirs as a memorial to their parents, John Quincy Adams Smith and Maggie Johnson Smith, notable citizens and Pioneer builders of the early New Carlisle community. The park includes tennis courts, playground, a shelter and an outdoor stage for local concerts.
The cache is a micro containing only a log and a pencil. There are several houses and children nearby, so beware of muggles.
