Geocache Description:

Another in our haunted series.... I have lived in the Lakewood Golden area most of my life and I have always been intrigued by this place. It is a beautiful place with the older half on the north of Wide Acres Road and the newer section still in use today on the South side. the cache is in a small container with a logbook and pencil. There is room for small swag if you wish. Please be kind and respectful to this beautiful place and enjoy the area.

Golden Hill was founded in 1908, and the North or Hill section of the cemetery became the final resting place for many who settled in our region looking for a cure for their tuberculosis. Most of these individuals were destitute and burial was provided as a community responsibility.

This one is a calm and friendly haunt, with may people reporting friendly playful spirits, and a calm sensation. Enjoy this cache and be respectful of these gracious "hosts" HAppy haunting!
