Geocache Description:

A walk through a cattle field with the gentle hum of the A27 in the distance so u2 can gaze out over Worthing and the south coast along the way!

The cache is a small tupperware box hidden along a footpath to the north of the A27 above Sompting and Worthing.

We have started it off with a Halloween theme due to the time of year it was set but there is no need to swap other Halloween items as we would like it to gradually fill with the more usual kind of swap items.

Best place to start is at Sompting parish church which is just along the bostal lane from the A27 to Steyning.Parking is either in the church carpark or on the road between the carpark and the church.

PLEASE NOTE:The bostal lane to the church is only accessible from the eastbound carriageway of the A27.To access it from the westbound carriageway you must carry on along the A27 to the Lyons Farm retail park and then back to the lane.

It is also possible to make your way to the cache from other directions along the many footpaths in the area.

If parking at the church you need to start your hunt by walking along the footpath alongside the carpark and then follow your GPS making sure you stick to the footpaths.From this starting point the cache is a little over half a mile away.
