“INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST”
The Indiana Spirit Quest series of geocaches will take you to a number of historic cemeteries built by Hoosier Pioneers. In just a year and a half, the quest has grown to over three hundred sixty caches hidden in thirty-eight Indiana counties, and two Ohio counties, and the hiders consist of several cacher teams, which are comprised of Dogs and their Humans. Over 750 cacher teams have logged over 8,900 finds. One cache machine found 102 ISQ caches in a single day (daylight hours only).

"Freeman Cemetery"
WELCOME TO Freeman Cemetery, located directly across from the Atterbury Cemetery. There are several broken or missing stones here. Many of these stones are in desperate need of attention; there are quite a few that are illegible.
The entrance to this cache, also a driveway, is off of the southbound lane of U.S. 31. It is at N 39 22.551 W 086 59.193. The sign for the cemetery is right behind a telephone pole, so you may not see it until it is too late. Please be careful when looking for the entrance- the speed limit of the area is 60 mph. This driveway comes to a dead end between the Freeman (on the right) and Atterbury cemeteries.
This barely legible stone belongs to Richard Hogan. He was born in Ireland in 1824, and died in Johnson County in April 1893. He served during the Mexican War in Company B., First Regiment U.S. Dragoons.
These three children drowned on their way to Sunday school as they tried to cross Sugar Creek in their wagon.
