This cache is located on Turnbull Rd near Cedarville at the Old Baptist Cemetery that is surrounded on three side by an active gravel pit. Bring your own pen to log the visit.
The “SH” in the cache name above signifies a Spirit Hunt, a project by the Miami Valley Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of that series created by MVG members to highlight cemeteries in the area. Please be respectful of the area. The cemetery is no longer an active cemetery and has many interesting gravestones from children to civil war veterans and some of the founding fathers of the area. The cemetery is well maintained by the township. The gate is closed with rusty wire but near the parking spot the fence is only about 2 feet high and most people can step over it here to look at the gravestones. Please be respectful of the area and watch out for muggles. Many times you can see the local college students running up and down the road. Also, the gravel trucks enter and exit the road about a hundred yards to the west of the cemetery but do not usually travel toward the cemetery.
