New York Admin: Regrettably I must archive this abandoned cache. Of course this opens the area up for others to submit a cache here so geocachers may once again enjoy this wonderful spot.

Nice and easy one !
This is a micro, located in Alexandria Bay ! A nice view of the river and Boldt Castle.
It is named after a wooden side wheel steamer, built in Rochester, NY 1909. The Islander was 125 ft long, with a 20 ft beam and a displacement of 118 tons. She was tied to the dock, when she caught fire and burned to the water line , in September, 1909. She lies mostly intact, in depths from 25 to 50 ft, with a mild current. A great site, for divers, to explore. Hope you enjoy the scenery. Jim
