Ulan Bator (“Red Hero”) is the capital of Mongolia. Now it got its first regular Cache! It is at the Zaisan hill close to the famous Russian monument. The best to get to these place is to take a taxi. But it is also easy to reach on foot.
From upstairs you have a spectacular view over Ulaanbaatar (engl. notation) and you can get an impression were the about 1.000.000 people live. You will be surprised how clear the air is. On the backside you will find an big Ovoo. This is a man-made pile of stones and very sacred in Mongolia. It is good luck to walk around it three times and to add a stone from close-by. Please respect this place! The cache is not so far away from here. Take care while climbing over the rocks! It is a "micro-box" and you should bring a pen with to lock it. After you got it you can have a walk from here through the mountains or inspect the new “International Buddha Park” submontane.
