Rush County Roundup Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

tvnewsbiz: Okay, folks... it's hunting season and that means the property should be off limits. Several of the caches would be unreachable anyway because of the high water. So, I'm officially archiving this one. Look for another chance in the spring, with all new caches. Thanks for attending!

Geocache Description:

ONE DAY ONLY! We're opening up our 40 acres so you can hunt for 20 caches.

We had a few cachers out last weekend. Diehards, they were ... as we battled rain and drizzle but enjoyed great fellowship nonetheless.

Since THIS weekend is going to be so nice, we're gonna open up the property again to anyone who wants to stop by from noon to dusk on Sunday, October 30.

Our rolling wooded property along the Little Blue River is located at the site of our first hide ever, Corner Post Cache.

We'll make this one a self guided event. Park in the mowed area between the fire ring and the tall pines. I'll have a table set up with property maps and cache descriptions. (Please replace the paperweights to keep the papers from blowing away.)

Bring some lunch or snacks and your favorite camp chairs, and we'll light a bonfire around 5pm.

Our three yellow labs might tag along during your quest, but they won't point out the caches.

Here's hoping you can stop by. At least one of us will be around throughout the day and definitely there for the bonfire. The house will be open for bathroom breaks of course.

Here's a bonus: All of you who came last weekend can now log your finds.
