The Bridge Traditional Cache

To quote Neil Burns: "About 10km South of Piketberg the original road from Moorreesburg crosses the Berg River by way of a steel girder bridge. This bridge was intended to be used in Australia. In 1850 the vessel carrying this fully assembled 110 metre bridge to Australia had to put into Table Bay for emergency repairs, which called for the removal of the bridge from the deck.
When the repairs were done, the engineers and stevedores struggled for days on end to lift the bridge back on deck.
Eventually it was decided to abandon the bridge in Cape Town.
What to do with the bridge? Somebody remembered that a bridge was needed to cross the Berg River and the search began for a place where the river was just wide enough. That place turned out to be the spot known as Die Brug, where she still spans the river in all her misplaced glory."
You will need to go down a level.
The cache is placed where the two wall types meet.
