The Grand Union Canal links Birmingham to London with a waterway
which is 145 miles long and contains 166 locks. This cache is one
of a series to be found along or close to the
Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire stretch of the canal.
This cache is located at Bridge 125, South of Cheddington. There
is parking a bit further along the cache at N51 50.212 W000 39.350,
where there is plenty of room for several cars, but please take
care with turning off the road as it's a busy spot. From the
parking, it's a short walk along to the start point and there are
lots of moored up boats to look at on the way.
You are looking for a micro. It is not the conventional micro,
but once you have found it, please don't give the game away in your
logs. This cache takes you near to the water so please take care,
especially if caching with kids. There are likely to be anglers and
dog walkers near here, so please make sure that no muggles see you
with the cache and please do a good re-hiding job. Thanks.
You will need to gather some numeric clues at the bridge and then
these will be used, in the normal fashion, to derive the final
cache co-ordinates.

When you get to the cache site, please take care not to
trample all the undergrowth, by which I really mean try not to
break all down the bushes, rather than don't walk on the grass!!,
which will give the hide away and spoil it for others. There is a
robin which lives near the tree and if you are quiet you are likely
to see it at the cache site. I will be monitoring this cache to
ensure that the robin's home is not decimated by cachers! Bring
worms!!
