The above coordinates
ARE NOT the actual coordinates for the
cache.
The stretch of Barrel
Springs Road between Pearblossom Hwy and Chesboro Road is a really
pretty area-just begging for some hides. Could we put one
here?
As the Mom and the girls
set out to find a place to hide this cache we were sure to take in
the beauty of the area we live in. There were rocks to the
NORTH of the site that had the distinctive valley reddish
color-MEDIUM TERRA COTTA-to be exact. As we gazed to the
WEST, we noted that at this time of day the sky was
cloudless. It was exactly MEDIUM BABY BLUE as a matter of
fact. We found a spot and lovingly placed a small to medium camoed
rubbermaid container.
At the time of placement it
contained a White Jeep "Usbeorn" TB, 5greens lizard,
crossstitch geocaching bookmark and a few toys.
The bonus for this cache is
a bench mark-nearby and very obvious.
Now for the
puzzle:
STEP ONE:
N 34° 31.??? and W 118°
04.???
There are clues to what
belongs in each set of coordinates in the paragraphs above. When
you discover what those numbers are go to the next step.
STEP TWO:
Add 500 to the last three
digits in the North coords.
Subtract 150 from the last three digits in the West
coords.
The actual cache is at
these coordinates.
