Geocache Description:

This two part Multi-cache is located in East Riverside Park on the
east side of the Milwaukee River.

The entrance to the park is south of the Village of Saukville Water
Treatment Facility on Ridge Road (gravel road) between Cottontail
Lane and Sumac Lane. Park on the side of the road. The park has an
archery range and nature trails through the woods. Allow 30 minutes
to complete the walk. This cache will take you through the woods on
the nature trails. The round trip is .8 miles. The park has a
number of trails and it is easy to get disorientated. If you return
on the trail you came in on, you will not have any problems. It is
easy to miss the trail out and you may want to mark the way point
for the entrance to the park. If you take the wrong trail out, you
will end up at the end of Sumac Lane. It happened to me the first
time!

Mitchell Lemons' Eagle Scout project is to restore the trails in the spring of 2008. Way Point one was right on the trail, so it had to be moved.

Lemons plans to clear brush from the existing trail to make it a uniform five feet wide. He also wants to add a second loop to the trail, adding access to the river. Along the river, he will add three benches for those who enjoy fishing and relaxing. He plans to increase the visibility of the parkland by creating a new sign identifying the features of the two acre park, including the trails and archery range.

PART ONE: Walk on the grass to the river and follow the
nature trail. The cache is about twenty feet off the trail. The container is a five inch camouflaged bottle with a two inch diameter. In the container you will find the coordinates to the final cache.

PART TWO: Follow the trail to the cache which is a
large ammo box. It is best to approach the cache from the south.
You will have to bushwhack for approximately fifty feet to reach the cache.
