Geocache Description:

The round trip for this off set cache if done on foot is approximately 7k due to the landscape although the 2 caches are actually a little under 2k apart.

Starting at one of Gloucestershire’s best, and least visited, view points you can either do the whole thing on foot (boots essential) or take the easier option and head for alternate parking which is available much closer to the final cache.

A 2 stage journey with a virtual cache giving you the coordinates to the final traditional cache.

When you reach the waypoint above, a ‘local guide’ will give you enough information to unscramble the following coordinates for the final cache.

‘A’ is all about how far…
‘B’ is all about how high…

N 51.A°
W 002.B°

Where A = ((LONDON x DUNKERRY BEACON x CINDERFORD) + DATE ) – A FULL CIRCLE

And B = ((10 x SUGAR LOAF ) + BLACK MOUNTAINS + THE ANSWER TO LIFE, THE UNIVERSE & EVERYTHING ) -1

TAKE A CALCULATOR!

PLEASE NOTE!! - Final Waypoint is given in 'Decimal Degrees' (N 51.xxxxx° / W 002.xxxxx°)
You will need to set your GPSr to use / display the coordinates in H D.D format using the WGS84 datum.

The final cache is a standard, small ammo box marked with Geocache stickers. It is located close to the path. You
will not need to enter any farm land or private property.

Bring a map (!) and do it on foot & you’ll see part of the Cotswold Way, National Trust Woodland, 2 SSSI’s and plenty more.
