Geocache Description:

The surrounding area where the cache is hidden is where "Monarch of the Glen" was filmed,hence the corny name.
Take the laggan road as far as Laggan Bridge.At Laggan Bridge take single track road to Gergask,Garve.Follow road as far as Spey Dam.Just as Spey Dam comes in to view there is a bridge,go over here and then take forestry track signposted for Blackwood Walks.Drive slowly lots of potholes,park at NN58711 92956.

Walk up through forestry following signs for Blackwood Walk.Follow path gradually going uphill signposted the Hill Fort.Could manage a mountain bike up apart from last 200 feet if your keen.There is an information point at the top that tells you about the Hill Fort.If you have children with you keep a close eye on them as there are some very steep sides all around.Excellent place for a FORTRESS!
Go to the eastern side and look down, if you parked in the right spot you will see your car.5 minutes down on your bike!Please note this is very close to Pattack Falls cache which is a quickie near the roadside.
