Nowhere USA Tour Stop #2 Mystery Cache

On November 18, 1978 Steve Martin performed at the Hulman Center
in Terre Haute, IN. Later, while doing an interview for Playboy
Magazine, the interviewer asked him where the most nowhere city in
America was. Martin replied... "Terre Haute, IN". Well
excccCCUUUUSSSEEEEEE ME !! The city responded by inviting Martin
back to Terre Haute. On December 7th, 1979, Steve Martin returned
to the city & was welcomed by signs... "Welcome Billy Martin",
and cheers of "What's Dean Martin's son doing in town?" He was then
escorted on a tour of our fine town. This was the nowhere USA
tour's second stop, City Hall. It was here that Steve Martin was
given a key to our nowhere USA city. I found an ideal location for
this cache about 100 yards & just across the street from city
hall. I then decided that the geocacher traffic might disturb the
homeless fellow living in the tent in this area... so I chose the
present location within sight of city hall. The terrain has lots of
hidden surprises, be careful.
