Geocache Description:


Third in the series. I must admit, the deer in this park are very tame. As I set this one up, a female was so close that if I had an apple, I bet she would have taken it from my hand.

This is a three part multi-cache. Another projected WP cache – OH NO!! This one is NOT for the feint of heart – you will get twisted around and find yourself back at ground zero to start over. There are many deer paths on this part of the trail. So keep track of your wanderings. There is also a very large and secure natural bridge if you choose to use it.

The listed coordinates will take you to a familar looking item. This spot will be close to the actual location of WP 1. To find the actual location, you will have to use the compass function on your GPSr. If your GPSr does not have a compass function, any compass with degrees listed on the face will do. From ground zero, proceed approximately 170’ to 175’ bearing 300° +/- 5°. You cannot walk in a straight line so keep track of your variations. There you will find the coordinates to the second WP.

From WP2 proceed approximately 100’ to 105’ bearing 245° +/- 5°. Same as WP1 regarding variations. There you will find the coordinates to the final. The final is an ammo can. There will be room for small items. BYOP just in case and good luck.
