Cobbler's Corner Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Cobbler's Corner to find out about the status of this cache on May 19, 2007. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Cache is located in Great Woods Conservation area. Nice walk, wooden bridges over streams

Captain Miles Standish came to survey a track of land, named
Titquet Purchase, which contained about 64 square miles. The northern point of the land is known on old deeds as Cobbler's Corner from the tradition that one of the Standish party cobbled his shoes here. There is a sign at this spot. Cache is 75 ft ESE from the sign.

In hunting season, protective orange may be a good idea. Walk is easy, parking is at Judy's Lane off Fisher St.
This is my first cache, so if you have comments that would
improve your experience, please e-mail me.
