Located in the Big Pines Natural Area. Parking is on the west side of 113A (Chinook Trail). There is a big brown sign. Trail leads down to a new bridge over the Swift River, then up steeply. But the cache is no more than .25 mile from the road. Watch carefully, the trail is not well blazed.
The Big Pines name is well deserved. The trees are treemendous
Continue on the trail to explore further. There is a loop back to the bridge or one can hike all the way to the Great Hill fire tower. It is easy to loose this trail, set waypoints and look behind you occasionally to set the image of the trail in your mind. The cache is in an obvious spot and is an ammo box starting out with a wide assortment of this and that. Enjoy!
