This cache is best approached from Bognop Road.
Parking is available at: N52 37 839, W002 04 962.
The cache dissapeared on 17th November 2005. We have replaced it with a new one on the exact same spot. In future, could people please take care to cover the cache up carefully. The cache location is very exposed, but if covered up well there should not be a reason for the cache to be found accidently.
Home Sweet Holland has been set up because Imke is originally from the Netherlands. She sometimes feels a long way away from her birth place. We therefore decided to set up a cache in England, which is forever Holland: 'Home Sweet Holland'.
The name 'Home Sweet Holland is taken from a webpage for Dutch people living in the UK. If anyone is interested, the webpage is: www.homesweetholland.co.uk.
We considered various locations to place the cache, visited various 'Holland roads', and even a 'Holland bridge', but eventually felt the most suitable spot would be this one.
The cache is situated on a footpath which is near an old windmill. The coordinates for a good view of the windmill are: N52 37 850 W002 05 053, which is not far from the parking coordinates.
Please only trade items that you associate with 'Holland'. It would be nice if you explain in your log why you associate your trading item with Holland.
The cache is located on a path which can get muddy after rain, so waterproof footwear is recommended.
The cache location is quite exposed, so please make sure you cover it up carefully after your visit!!!
