Geocache Description:

The cache is an ammo box hidden on the slope of a mountain.

In Lost Horizon, American novelist James Hilton depicted Shangri-La as a wonderland in which people live in harmony with nature and each other. This is a multicache that should not take you more than an hour to complete. The co-ordinates shown take you to a parking place from where you start your adventure. Once there pass through the gate. You will have to pay a small fee to enter, which helps to maintain the area. The gate is open from 08:00 to 16:30 on weekdays and 08:00 to 17:00 on weekends throughout the year. You will have to find the answers to the following questions in order to arrive at the final cache site: 1. Find the Porter memorial at S34 20.863 E018 55.766 and discover the origin of the cache name and also the last clue to finding the final cache site.
