Geocache Description:

This is the second cache located in this park area. Follow the paved walking path all the way to the end where it makes a loop. The cache is hidden here. You may do this during the day or at night because the trail is lighted. This is a beautiful walk along the Kootenai River and by the fishing pond.

This is a regular cache in an ammo can. Starting out cache includes a travel bug and a USA geocoin.

There have been several comments on the park yurt. The City of Troy placed the yurt as a camping cabin, which can be rented all year-round. Oregon & Washington State Parks have been using camping yurts for years to bring income into their park systems. The Roosevelt Park yurt has electricity, heat and furniture. It has been very successful in its first year of use. See (visit link) for more information!
