Geocache Description:

Inspired by the scale model solar system at the Museum of Science in Boston, this cache uses the main dome of the Naismith Hall of Fame to be a scale model sun. The planet caches are at the appropriate scale distance.

Jupiter. At the scale with the dome of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame being the sun, 140' = 1 million miles, Big Jupiter would be a 12.7 foot ball of gas, located about 13 miles away from our scale model sun. Jupiter's 4 largest moons (Io, Callisto, Gannemeade, and Europe) would range in size from baseball to softball size objects. Io, the innermost moon, would be about 35' away from the cache, while outer Callisto would be 165' from the scale model planet. Despite its huge size, Jupiter spins around in about 10 hours.

The cache is a large plastic jug, with a log book and the usual trinkets and small goodies. It's located along the Manhan Rail Trail and the Ox Bow in Easthampton Ma. The cache should stay high and dry in all but a major flood.

I averaged a couple of readings to get coordinates, I'll be real interested to hear from some of the FTFs.
