Decided I could probably make it worth a geocachers trouble as long as they were looking for the others in the area to have one more cache to look for too! There is also a CT DEP letterbox in the area! Though not everything is in the same area just the same state forest! Tricky hide. Bring your spinach Popeye!
Single stage - which should be an easy enough cache possible even in winter so long as theres not too much snow. Very good chance of seeing deer. Not much bushwacking just stay with the trails - some marked, some not but nonetheless trails. Mountain bikers heaven, so be on guard! Slippery leaves on hills/ hikers beware! Do this cache at the same time as the others in this forest. As of 2023 they are doing a lot of logging in here which kind of messed up the trail to this one there are some teal colored ribbons that you can follow to get here. tougher with downed trees so upped the difficulty and terrain a bit.
