This multi cache is located in a large, well known Brisbane park with a strong Aussie theme.  There are lots of facilities including toilets, bike paths, picnic tables and BBQs - even a duck pond so bring a little extra bread !   This park is also home to Brisbane's longest flying fox !!!

At the parking coordinates given, you will find a great place for a family BBQ or picnic.

There are large spreading trees and plenty of open space to let the kid's run around.

Eclipse - ANZAC is a four leg multi cache - the first waypoint is in a little corner of the park called Jack's Gully - There is a plaque in Jack's Gully from which you will need to extract the following information.

  • How old was Jack when he died?  (=AB years)

  • What year was Jack Born?    (=CD/EF/GHIJ)

  • What year did Jack die?        (=KL/MN/OPQR)

Waypoint # 2 = S 27o 28.A(A-C)B        E 152o 58.(B-M)KL

At Waypoint #2, you are looking for a small, adhesive sticker with numbers on it.  Apply these numbers as given to the coordinates of your current location (the location of the waypoint sticker).

The calculated coordinates will take you to the cache which is a regular sized ammo box.
