Mission Objective

Reconnaissance.

  • Locate Scaramanga's secret weapon cache.
  • Avoid being detected by all means as this is a reconnaissance mission.
Mission Priority Urgent.
Special Equipment GPSr required.
Mission Reference Point MRP = N50°40.000' E006°00.000' (WGS1984).
All Offsets will be given in (N mm.mmm' E mm.mmm').
Background Information Agent 007 encountered Scaramanga some years ago. 007 accomplished to destroy an important base of Scaramanga in South East Asia. Scaramanga was thought to be eliminated. Newest intelligence says he is alive and that Scaramanga went into hiding after the encounter with 007.

According to this latest intelligence, he is planning a come-back. First step was setting up a new base in Europe. Likeliest place is near Aachen, across the border in Belgium. The tri-state area is known to be a preferred area for criminals as they can slip into another country very easily.

It is assumed that Scaramanga plans something big for his 1000th contract. He therefore expects a major weapon delivery soon. Our sources tell us that the weapons will be deposited in a secret cache near his new base. Hidden clues will lead to the exact place.

INTELLIGENCE PIECE 4

The next piece of intelligence could be retrieved in a secret hideout in Brussels. It is assumed that this was the message leading to the final depot. Unfortunately, it could not be fully restored. It must be assumed that the clue to the final depot can be found during the mission.
