I found this spot about 4 years ago while doing the Sashiki Half marathon. Please visit the website for pictures of the area.
Cache is a small tupperware container with a yellow lid. Contains log book and small items like action figures.
The cache is probably an easy find, but the view of Sashiki and Nakagusuku bay is worth the trip.
Take 329 to Naha from Awase. At the Haebaru Sashiki intersection turn left on 331 towards Itoman and Sashiki.
Stay on 331 until you enter Sashiki town, turn right onto 137 heading to Tamagusuku. Stay on 137 after some time you will start climbing up a large hill, at the top of this hill is an over pass, turn right immediatly after this overpass. You will be heading towards "Kyuka Center"
Park at the Kyuka Center. This building has a tall blue sign and a large rock with Kanji engraved on it. As you are entering the parking lot you will cross a red bicycle path.
From this point you will either bike ride or walk to the cache location. The choice is up to you. I estimate the distance from parking to the cache at 2.5 - 3 kilometers.
Start on the red bike path and follow your GPS from there.
Once you find the cache you can continue on down the bike trail and enjoy the rest of the scenery. If you are on bike and are a savy GPSer you could ride the bike trail and loop back to the parking.
If your up for more scenery, on your way home take 137 to 86, this road will take you through a small tunnel on down the back side of Sashiki with a splendid view of Southern Okinawa oceans and island. Well worth the trip. 86 then intersects with 331 which will take you back home.
