Dear Cacher,
If you have decided to embark on a quest to find the Series of
Unfortunate Caches, I would strongly advise you to think again.
Your afternoon would be better spent in front of a television,
staring aimlessly at a commercial for soap than geocaching, a
phrase which here means, “scrambling through dense thorn bushes and
wandering over a cliff in search of a small and uninteresting
little box that is not worth noticing.”
I have placed this cache in hope that the general public would
finally realize how the three Boudelaire orphans felt as they
stared at their charred house.
While you are still here at your computer, I beg you to not go
on this journey, for it will leave you weeping in the ashes of
sorrow. I know that your day will be a better one if you do nothing
but sit in front of your computer and eat bonbons all day. Remember
you are my last hope that the unfortunate tales of the Boudelaire
orphans are told to the general public.
With all due respect
L.S.
The Bad Beginning, book one in the Series of Unfortunate
Events by Lemony Snicket.
The above coordinates are NOT the location of the cache. The
cache may be located by answering the following questions which are
from "A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning" by Lemony
Snicket. This book is readily available at any public or school
library. You could also get the answers by asking most any
reasonably literate eight to twelve-year-old. Note – Watching the
popular movie of the same name MAY help answer some of the
questions but the final authority is the book.
The cache is located at N 39 Degrees AB.CDE Minutes and West
119 Degrees FG.HIJ Minutes.

This is a cache with a theme. The theme is items related to
the book (Fires, weddings, plays, etc…). Please do not take a
themed item unless you replace it with another themed item. Feel
free to leave or take non-themed items at will.
