in our disclaimer.
The above coordinates are NOT the cache location, but a good place to have fun and start from. 4WD is NOT required for this series of caches, though you may feel more comfortable with a high clearance vehicle.
This mystery cache leads you to a traditional cache container. In order to find this cache, you will have the unique opportunity to visit three adjoining states to find the coordinates. Partial coordinates can be found at Tri-State A GCR8EN, Tri-State C GCR8EP, and Tri-State N GCR8ET caches. All four can be done in a couple of hours and we hope you can complete them in a "Tri-State Afternoon." Now, a little story about the unofficial FTF'ers. This cache was originally placed in a "forbidden zone" in an attractive rock pile. Because of the forbidden zone, it wasn't activated on this website. However, when we rescued this from its original location, two people had actually signed the log! One of them left a name, address and phone numbers. On calling him, we learned of his adventure of finding our hidden treasure. He called to his friends, saying: "Hey, come up here! I found something!" He says they didn't know if it was drugs, stolen stuff, money, or a bomb. But they decided to open it and find it full of our caching goodies. They took their photo with the enclosed camera, signed the log, and went back to check out this website. So while we can't credit them for true FTF's ala geocaching, they now know of our unique hobby. 12/1/2007 Camera removed from cache.
