A neat spot in a lovely place.
A reasonably short hike from the parking lot for Vogel Canyon on Comanche National Grasslands. The cache is located where settlers' hopes were born, lived and died in a place of austere beauty. The cache is rather small: a Rubbermaid container about 6"x4"x3", so keep traded items small. The canyon is worth the visit, with petroglyphs, rock formations and historic ruins.
