I had planned on putting a cache out for RufusTheCat when she hit 1,000 caches. However, since it took her about 2 1/2 years to reach almost 500 finds, I thought I'd place this cache for that 500th find for her.
After having back surgery last year, my doctor told me that walking was the best thing for me. Well, it didn't take long before the treadmill was just way too dull for me. Rufus then introduced me to this fun game and the rest is history.
Since I started caching, Rufus and I have cached several times together.
If you know Rufus, you know she doesn't pull her punches and will speak her mind. She will tell anyone who listens that she HATES micros! Actually micros are second on that list to hikes. I've done a few fairly easy ones with her (she can do them without much problem) but during the entire hike, she will remind you just how much she dislikes hiking!
I guess you can see where this cache name comes from. However, there is no hike involved and this is not a micro. Just a fun little cache near a spot that Rufus loves!
