Geocache Description:

This series was created by Mountain Lovers in 2005 and continues on as a tribute to Richard. He loved hiking in the mountains, and if you collect all the coordinates to visit the final in the mountains, it's an epic trip. Below is his text, edited only slightly when the number of caches was reduced to 10.

. . . . . . . . .

This is one of the 10 characters in the "Cartoon Capers" play!!

This is a series of 10 caches hidden in San Gabriel Valley.

All of the caches have a difficulty rating of 1 - 2.5 and are easily accessible by car with only a short walk. They are not intended to be difficult or even very tricky, just a lot of fun.

All of the caches are kid friendly, so bring the whole family for a fun day of geocaching. If you are only going after the 10 in this series, they can be completed in a couple of hours. Most, but not all, are wheelchair accessible.

IMPORTANT!!! Be sure to keep track of the clues you find in each of the 10 caches, maybe by using the "Personal cache note" feature on this page. Each log sheet has one alphabetical letter and one coordinate you will need, written in green felt pen. Replace the letters here with the numbers you find in green:

North 34 AB.CDE   West 118 FG.HIJ.

All together they will help you solve my Cartoon Capers.

Good Luck!!!
