PEANUT BUTTER jar container. South Park cache off of Corrigan. Park at N40 19.533 W080 00.933 and grab Downward Spiral(GCR0JR) if you haven't yet.
This is my first cache and I've been so excited about it that I took it in to school for show and tell before I planted it. From the parking coords, hike up the hill staying near the tree line on your right. The trail head is at the back, right corner of the mowed grass area. This is a fun hike that I always do with my mom, my dog and my brother. We saw a deer back here once and even a ribbon snake in the summer. The grass is too thin for snakes in the fall or winter, though. There is a small playground at the trailhead that you should let your kids play at for a long time because kids like to play lots and lots. If you continue on the trail past the cache, it ends at our favorite picnic pavillion. My favorite kind of caching is with flashlights, so it's one that can be done in the daytime or just after dark. I'm very proud of my first cache.
