ACHTUNG
Da sich die Cachelokation gerade in eine Baustelle verwandelt,
mussten wir die Zollfreie Zone vorläufig auf einen Ausweichplatz
(mit niedrigerer Terrainwertung) - unweit der Originalkoordinaten
verlegen. Die Koordinaten dieser Ausweichposition sind
N = 48° 10.932´
E = 15° 45.540´
"Zollfreie Zone" ist als reiner Zweckcache für TBs entstanden.
Ursprünglich wollten wir ihn im Bereich der Autobahnraststätte St.
Pölten legen, wo wir auch schon ein gutes Versteck gefunden hatten,
die allgemeine Verschmutzung des Areals hielt uns davon aber ab. So
fiel die Wahl auf dieses Versteck. Zugegeben - es ist auch kein
Highlight in der Landschaft, aber unsere Vorgaben waren schnelle
Erreichbarkeit bei der Durchreise und viel Platz für
TBs.
Er ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der A1-Abfahrt
"Böheimkirchen" gelegen. Wenn du also auf der Autobahn
dahinbraust, vergiss nicht, dort abzufahren. Der Rest ist durch die
Drive-In-Koordinaten eindeutig bestimmt, auch Parkmöglichkeit ist
gegeben.
Der einzige Pferdefuß an diesem
Cache: Du solltest keine schöne Büro- (Manager-)bekleidung tragen
und dein Schuhwerk sollte mit griffigen Gummisohlen ausgestattet
sein. (Beim Cache-Legen hatte ich meine Western-Boots an und
lieferte für Tina einige lustige Stunts...) Weiters ist eine
Mindestkörpergröße von 1.60m Voraussetzung sowie ein wenig Geschick
(wie bei vielen Höhlenbären-Caches). Deine Hände wirst du
jedenfalls benötigen.
Dafür können wir aber auch eine ganzjährige
Erreichbarkeit garantieren. Es soll also ein "zollfreier
Umschlagplatz" für TBs aller größen sein.

Der Cache ist eine
6-Liter-Plastikbox mit
folgendem Originalinhalt:
- Logbuch, Infozettel, GC-Label, Bleistift (bitte nicht
entfernen)
- TB Snoopy
- Körbchen
- Drahtwaschl
- Zwirn
- Handy-Blende
- Legostein

ATTENTION
As there are building activities at the cachelocation at the
moment we had to transfer the Cache to the following position
N = 48° 10.932´
E = 15° 45.540´
"Zollfreie Zone" ("Duty Free Zone") was originated as a pure
purpose-cache. Primary we wanted to place it near the Highway rest
house "St. Pölten", but the general pollution of this area detained
us. So we chose this hiding place. Confessed - it is no real
highlight of the landscape, but our guidlines had been quick
reachability at the travel trough and a lot of space for
TBs.
It is placed right next to the A1-Exit "Böheimkirchen".
So if you are rushing along the highway, don´t forget to leave
there. The rest is exactly defined by the drive-in-coordinates,
even parking possibility is given nearby.
The only snag to this cache is:
You should not wear office- (manager-) suits and your footgear
shoud be equipped with rubber-soles. (At the time of cache-hiding I
weared my western-boots and therefore showed some funny stunts to
Tina...) Further on a minimal body hight of about 1.60 m is
required as well as a good portion of skill (as usually for
Höhlenbären-Caches). Your hands will be needed
anyway.
On the other hand we can guarantee an all-season
reachability. So it should be a "Duty-Free Reloading Point" for
TBs of any size.
