This is a quick, easy cache that will give you some interesting local history. It would be great for a night hunt.
This area was named after (you'll never guess) five majestic oaks that used to stand here. Three of the original trees were felled by storms (and have been recently replaced), but two still remain. This is a chance to enjoy some wonderful, old, magnificent trees, which are getting rarer each day.
These coordinates will take you to a pavilion that tells a bit about this area, which has been used as a gathering spot for hundreds of years beginning with Native Americans, then mountain men, settlers, and contemporary businesses.
Enjoy the brief history display, and find the answer to this question:
The two original trees still standing are estimated to be over how many years old? The answer = AAA.
AAA plus 370 = BBB.
AAA minus 333 = CCC.
The cache is an ammo can at these coordinates:
45° 33.BBB 122° 55.CCC
