A new small park located in Smokey Point to honor heros....
Hero Park was dedicated on Sunday October 30th, 2005. A vacant lot was turned into a communtiy park through a project headed by Lowes and its employees. The park is dedicated to heros such as police officers, firefighters, school teachers and those who served in the military.
A hand crafted bench will be placed soon which was completed by Girl Scout Jessica LaPlante. She completed this project to earn her Silver Badge. Look for the bench to be added as soon as the grass is in.
This is currently a simple micro, but will be changing soon to a more challenging hide, so enjoy it now before it changes to a more "interesting" hide
