Geocache Description:

This is an easily accessible cache and is great for small children and those with limited physical abilities. It is also an easily accesible spot for dropping off those travel bugs you have held onto for too long. Quick in quick out.

The history of Yarmouth, Maine, is especially interesting and spans nearly 400 years of
European occupation. It is believed that there were settlers here as early as 1636. The town
offered four waterfalls on the Royall River and was called by its Native American name,
Westcustogo. It was wiped out by King Philip's War of 1675, but was reorganized by the
Massachusetts Bay colony in 1680 and named North Yarmouth. It initially included the
present towns of Yarmouth, North Yarmouth, Cumberland, Freeport, Pownal, and Harpswell.

The cache was made just for this hiding spot. It is made of PVC. Please leave the cache exactly as you find it.

This park is accessible from dawn to dusk.
