Geocache Description:

This is a beautiful hike along the creekbed in Mentryville. From the parking area...at the end of Pico Canyon Road...continue hiking/biking through historic Mentryville and Pico Canyon...and you will come to a nice picnic area...Johnson Park. Bring the picnic basket and if you're adventurous, continue up the trail after you grab the cache and have lunch. Cache is a small plastic container with a red top...lots of goodies inside....have fun and enjoy the scenery. Spring, 2011 saw a freshly paved road for about one and a half miles into the park and this little park/picnic area is being cleaned up and developed...:)
