This cache is located on the paved Chichaqua Valley Bike Trail. One could ride their bike or take a nice walk to get to it.
The Chichaqua Valley Recreation Trail lies on an old railroad bed and is hard surfaced with blacktop. The trail crosses the forested banks and timbered bottomlands of the Skunk River, which was called Chichaqua by the Fox Indians. Young trees and prairie lining the trail are punctuated by vistas of rich farmland that is the result of Iowa’s ice ages and prairies.
Parking can be found at N41 43.887 W93 19.549 but it is about 1.7 miles to the cache from there. Another way in might be at N41 42.982 W93 22.062 for about .6 miles from the cache but there isn't really any parking there.
