13 Days of Caching
(A caching twist to a holiday
favorite)
On the fourth
day of caching, a cacher gave to me, a four star terrain,
three ammo cans, 2 AA batteries, and
a bright
yellow Garmin Etrex.
The fourth
cache is hidden in the lower portion of Boyce Mayview Park.
It is a square container.

The 13 Days of Caching
is a series of caches with a special holiday
ending. At each of the first twelve days of
caching, you will need to collect a holiday cutout.
Collect only one of each cutout per caching
team/group. At the 13th cache, there will be envelopes
for you to use to “mail” your collection to Santa.
During the week before Christmas (yearly) Santa will visit
the 13th cache and collect the envelopes. Each group
that has submitted their complete collection of holiday
shapes will receive a special holiday gift from Santa
himself. Be sure to use your holiday shapes to record
some information about the cachers in your group: the
age/sex of any children, and number of adults so Santa’s
gifts will be appropriate. Depending on the response,
Santa may also celebrate Christmas in July. DAY 1
AND 2 HAVE BEEN ARCHIVED. YOU MUST COLLECT SHAPES FROM DAY
3-12 IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE SERIES. ALL ENVELOPS MUST BE
RECEIVED BY SUNDAY, JUNE 25, 2006 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE
FINAL ROUND OF GIFT GIVING..
Some notes:
· You may visit the
caches in any order, but obviously you want to end with the 13th
day so that you may “mail” your envelope.
· You must submit one
shape from each cache (12 in all) in your envelope.
· Don’t forget to include
information about the members of your caching group/team!
· All 13 caches have
trades, but keep in mind that most are smaller, so plan
accordingly.
