Geocache Description:


Fourth in the series. This is straightforward 4-part multi cache in an area of the Root River Parkway where deer are prevalent. Deer can often be seen grazing in the nearby meadows in groups of 5 to 10 at a time. A park ranger once told me that there are as many as 150 deer in this park. When I placed WP 2, a doe actually followed me out. I guess she wanted to make sure I didn’t interfere with her business.

Going to the final you will find many deer paths. Choose the correct one and it will lead right to the cache site. Choose the wrong path and you could end up with shredded clothing. You are looking for rather small camo wrapped plastic container. The cache has a log book only. Bring a pen/pencil to log your visit. Total walking distance about .75 miles +/- any wanderings. Some bushwhacking at WP2 and final cache site.
