Geocache Description:

easy walk two options available if you want a longer walk
park at N52 45.020 W001 21.817 for the shorter walk start from the pub at N52 45.738 W001 21.738
box is a large plastic tupperware box

if you take the longer walk (adds about half mile onto walk)parking on Grace Dieu Road near the large metal gate this will take you down the old railway line
If you take the shorter walk from the pub the Bulls Head follow the path which will take you under the old railway track called the Blue Bell line, which was built in 1882 opened in 1884 this line ran from Coalville to Loughborough and this line ceased in 1932, if you follow the path you will get to the Viaduct of six arches, you will notice this has been faced with dressed sandstone blocks on the direct orders of Squire de Lile as this was the main drive to his house which is know a private school.

LOACATION OF BOX HAS BEEN MOVED DUE TO THEFT

Its worth going to the orginal place that the box was to see the statue if you walk through the metal gate before turning down towards were the new box is.

If you follow the path around you wll be able to view the whole structure, notice also in the area the remains of a possible stone circle of which only one stone remains.
upon reaching your point you will see a statue in the area, this was designed by local children in memory of the nuns which lived at the priory created in 1239 by Rohisa de Verdon, if you peer though the trees you will get glimpses of the ruins, the priory was of the Augustinian Order of the White Nuns.
There is lots of goodies in the box and also a book on the ghosts of Grace Dieu Priory-please do not remove this as this is for reference only please take the time to have a browse through

When you do find the new place its worth a trip around the ruins which has now been fully opened for the public to wander around.
