Geocache Description:

This is a quick, easy cache designed to introduce you to the Harold Eastman Memorial Rose Garden, although many of you have already been here before. … many times!

Construction is ongoing, but the cache is available.

I’ve had this cache idea for quite a while, and an0maly has graciously allowed me to put it here in place of his War of the Roses cache, which replaced the plundered Ring around the Rosie cache, which followed Y Rhosyn Triongl before it. That’s quite a cache history for such a tiny, although delightful, garden. So the war of the Roses continues!

This would be great for a night hunt, for kids, or for someone in a wheelchair (you can park quite near the cache). Park on the west side, and then take a moment to sit on the nearby bench and enjoy this small garden that’s so well cared for by the Tualatin Valley Garden Club.

The cache is hidden in a way to fit in with the landscaping, but there's no need to poke into or under any plants. In fact, your feet stay on the sidewalk to find this cache, so it's a good one to find on cold, rainy days.

Important note: This cache is an exception to Groundspeak cache placement rules. Before you consider doing one like it, please be sure to get written permission from the land owner. My thanks to the Hillsboro Parks and Recreation Department, which approved this one.
