An ammo box along the Mindego Trail in Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve.
I was hiking on the Mindego Trail in Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve when I turned a corner, and there was a fence across the trail. On the fench was a sign that read, "Area Closed Due To Storm Damage" and then at the bottom "Ordinance 93-1". So I guess for now, this is the "end" of the Mindego Trail.
The cache is on the uphill side of the trail. You do NOT need to pass the fence to get it.
NOTE: The sign and the fence are no longer present.
Please note that Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve is open from sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.
