I started on the other end of this railroad bed from Lumberjack Trail and pedaled to Hwy 33. It is a fun trip that I would recommend to anybody. This railroad bed is used as a snowmobile trail in the winter, so enjoy the year round possibilities.
Periodically, I get ideas that take time for all the elements to come together. To compound the problem, I have devised a simple little puzzle to find the start.

This is a winter friendly multi-cache that starts where the trail intersects a road. Please take the trail to the cache as the old railroad bed is surrounded by leased and private land on both sides. That means that the only legal access is via the trail. The final is about a mile from the start which is why this nice easy walk has 3 stars for terrain. It is imperative that you wear Blaze Orange during deer season (first two weeks of November) as I noticed several deer stands while setting up the cache.
