Back by popular demand, this Christmas
Event has been put together for cachers in the area (and
perhaps even further afield) to meet up, discuss the caches of
2005 and plan those for 2006, and indulge in some festive
cheer.
Time - 17:00hrs
Place - The Three Horseshoes public house, Winkwell. By
the way, the above co-ordinates are rubbish! It was a "bad hair
day" for my GPS, but you should be able to find the pub.
The pub is open all afternoon, from 11.00am, and does food
(meals and bar snacks) from 12.00pm onwards. Cachers may like to
meet up at lunchtime to join up into cache hunting groups, but the
event itself will start from 17:00pm. Dogs are allowed, but
only in the public bar, the place is kid friendly and there
is wheelchair access to the eating area.
The co-ordinates above will take you to the
venue. There is a small car par opposite and a larger
overspill one up the lane.
There is no limit to numbers for this event, although it would
be nice if people logged in to say that they intend to come, so we

If you intend to travel by public transport,
there is a regular train service to Hemel Hempstead Station
which is not too far to walk (nicest route is up the canal),
and is actually in Boxmoor! The service is by Silverlink via
London Euston/Birmingham. Here is a link to the Silverlink Trains

service. The number
500/501 Bus operates between Aylesbury - Tring - Watford and
goes right past the top of the lane.

There will be the usual TB swap. Bring along a TB
and take a different one home with you! You can either pre-drop
them into the event, to whet everybody's appetite or just bring
them along on the day!
