“INDIANA SPIRIT
QUEST”
The Indiana Spirit Quest series of
geocaches will take you to a number of historic cemeteries
built by Hoosier Pioneers. In just a year and a half, the quest has
grown to over three hundred caches hidden in twenty-seven Indiana
counties, and two Ohio counties, and the hiders have grown to
seventeen cacher teams, most of which of which are comprised of
Dogs and their Humans. Over 600 cacher
teams have logged over 7,000 finds. One cache machine found 102 ISQ
caches in a single day (daylight hours only).

INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST
#345
"Bishop Rock"
Welcome to Crown Hill
Cemetery, located in Jackson Township, Hamilton County, Arcadia,
Indiana. I have not been able to find any information about this
cemetery other than the name (and with a Crown Hill cemetery in
Indianapolis and a Crown Hill cemetery in Sheridan, IN, that was
its own challenge.)
Crown Hill has an enjoyable mix of older headstones and recent
stones. Take a few minutes to enjoy the stones as you walk to the
back of the cemetery towards the cache.

The gate used to have a "Crown Hill" sign. By the time I got back
to take the picture, the sign had been
removed.
The cache container is an
ammo box. There are several travel bugs to start the trading, but
you will need to bring your own pen. Please replace the cache
so that it as at least as well concealed as it was when you found
it.
The cache is not located near a grave... As always, please be
respectful, and cache in, trash out.
