Thought this was a cool spot for a cache because of the train tracks running through the large rock formations located here.
Cache is located in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. along the discontinued Newtown Branch of the old Reading Railroad that ran between Newtown and Cheltenham.
Cache container is a camo’d 30 cal. ammo can. The tracks are the dividing line of the park and private land. Please note that the tracks + ties are still in place along this branch, which could make for difficult travel for some cachers.
Recommended parking is on Creek Road at the trailhead, just off Terwood Road.
