This will be a Dirty Santa event for all MSGA cachers and any from nearby states that want to join in the fun
December 10th from about 11 am until.....
This event will be held at Pelahatchie Lake park soon to be changed to Yogi Bear camp grounds
We will have a cabin where we can have a fire and a porch to sit on and visit with the other cachers
Parking will be the only issue
There is a long brige that crosses over the lake you can park on the front side of the lake and walk across or on the road getting to the cabin but with the fire we are planning on having space will be limited near the cabin
If you need to unload something then drive around and do so but then move your car else where after you are done
The best parking will be near the tank and you can cache your way in from there :)
Remember this is a Dirty Santa party so every cacher that comes will need to bring a wrapped gift costing no more than $10 to get in the door
This can be either a geocaching related gift,a normal gift or a gag gift
But remember that you do not know who will be getting your gift so BE CAUTIOUS WITH WHAT YOU BRING :)
Please post a note if you plan to come and give us a head count
Also if you have children that will be at the event please let us know because we want to take care of them in the gift department also
There are 2 buildings at this park
This event will be in the CABIN not in the lodge
The coords posted on this page are for the front gate we will add the coords to the actual cabin soon
